Request a Sample

We believe the best way to understand the quality of our keychains is to see and feel one in person. That’s why we offer sample keychains to businesses considering custom branded pieces.

Our samples are made from solid walnut, engraved in-house, and finished the same way as our full production orders. No mockups. No shortcuts. Just a real example of what we make.

What You’ll Receive

  • A solid walnut keychain
  • Clean, legible engraving
  • A finished feel designed for everyday use
  • An accurate representation of our materials and quality

In most cases, we’re happy to include your logo or business name on the sample so you can see how it translates to wood.

Why Two Makers Crew

We’re a small, two-person maker studio designing and producing custom keychains in small batches. Everything is made in-house using solid walnut, with a focus on durability, legibility, and a premium feel.

Whether you’re ordering a handful of keychains or a larger run, our goal is the same: to create something that feels intentional and holds up to everyday use.

What Makes a Good Logo for Wood?

Most logos can be engraved successfully, but some translate to wood better than others. A few small considerations upfront help ensure the final keychain looks clean, legible, and intentional.

Logos That Work Best

  • Simple shapes and clean lines – Bold marks engrave clearly and age well
  • Solid areas – Filled shapes translate better than very thin outlines
  • High contrast designs – Light engraving against dark walnut stays readable
  • Minimal fine detail – Small details can get lost at keychain scale
  • Horizontal or compact layouts – These fit naturally on most keychain shapes

Things That May Need Adjusting

  • Very thin lines or hairline strokes
  • Small text or long taglines
  • Gradients, shadows, or colour-based details
  • Highly intricate illustrations

This doesn’t mean your logo won’t work—it simply means we may suggest small adjustments so it engraves cleanly and stays legible over time.

If You’re Not Sure, That’s Okay

Many of our customers aren’t sure how their logo will translate to wood—and that’s completely normal. When you submit a sample request, we review your artwork and let you know:

  • If it will engrave cleanly as-is
  • If minor tweaks would improve clarity
  • What size or shape best suits your logo

Our goal isn’t to change your branding—it’s to make sure it looks its best in a solid wood format.
