Thats a bold statement, we know! But having both been makers and entrepreneurs our whole lives lead us to a 5 year career (times 2) working for Shopify. There, we honed our skills speaking with tens of thousands of merchants offering technical support and business coaching to some of the biggest companies you know. After both being laid off in early 2023, we applied everything we knew and had learned combined to start our own successful business together. After quite a few conversations with other online makers, we realized there is a knowledge gap in online sales that we are more than happy to fill. You would be surprised how many people pay for a Shopify store and never remove the Password page! Here are a few more common issues that we have seen too many times to count.

  • There is an overload of Shopify information and it’s hard to know where to start. With so many resources and youtube tutorials out there with conflicting information that learning the Shopify platform feels like a huge time commitment.

  • Hiring a "developer" is a HUGE mistake. This is YOUR business and YOU need to know how all this works. Getting someone else to set this up for you will cause so many issues in the future because you will always be dependant on them to fix anything that breaks and trust us, things break!

  • Some people are just not ready for a Shopify store. The general consensus is that Shopify is for serious businesses and you want to take your business seriously. The truth is, Shopify works best for people that already have an audience of people who are looking to buy your products, not a first step.

This is really our superpower, combining our working knowledge of the Shopify platform with the unique needs as a maker, we’ve helped cut through the clutter and guide makers to make the best decision for their online business.
